GailSMITHPeacefully at the Alexandra Mill Care Home, Crewe with her husband Keith and son Adam by her side. Much loved wife of 54 years - mother to (the late) Laura and Adam, his partner Claire; Grandma to Jessica, Isaac Ellis, Hattie Rose and Rocco - dear sister to Lynn and Neil, aunt to Sara and Mark and great aunt to Leo, Kian and Anya.
She will be truly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. A devoted teacher at St. Hilary's School, Alderley Edge and a willing volunteer at Macclesfield Community Artspace and Barnaby Festival.
A celebration of her life and interment of her ashes will take place at Adlington Memorial Park on 26th February 2024 at 12 Noon.
No flowers please as we shall be planting trees in her memory and for our precious daughter, Laura. Donations if desired to East Cheshire Hospice or the RNLI.
The family request no black clothing as this will be a celebration of life. Any former pupils or members of staff of St. Hilary's are reminded that this will be a non-uniform day !
